Nothing beats the experience of seeing a magic show in person. Audience members will marvel at the huge production values and be drawn in by the immediacy of a live performance. It’s the time honored art of the master illusionist combined with the speed and modern design of the 21st century. You'll see grand illusions, levitating women, appearances and vanishes, escapes, comedy magic, sleight of hand, and beautiful dancers—all rolled up into a live show.

2016-2017 Season:  Something for Everyone
Season Tickets on Sale Now! Call/Visit the Fine Arts Center Box Office

We are excited to be starting our 13th season! The 2016-2017 season will feature “Something For Everyone,” with our professional series, which kicks off on October 20, 2016 and wraps-up on March 22, 2017. With a line-up that includes world-class illusionists, fan-favorite music, internationally renowned singers, and award-winning acrobatics/theatrics, you couldn’t ask for anything more.

Season tickets go on sale starting Monday, September 19th to the four-show season package. You can get season tickets by calling 616-493-8966 or stop in to see us (and pick out your seats) at 600 Forest Hill Ave. SE. We are open Monday – Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Season ticket sales will close on Thursday, October 20th at 5:00 p.m.

It’s going to be an incredible season and a wonderful 13th year of operations and we are excited to share it with you!

Trumpet Invasion
Father and Son Musicians Play Original Arrangements of Classics and Pops

Date:  Tuesday, October 18, 2016, 1:00 p.m. (Doors open at 12:30 p.m.)

Admission: $8 if you register by 4 p.m. on Monday, October 17, or $10 at the door (cash/check only on day of show). To reserve your seat for the concert, you can register online by clicking/tapping here or by calling the Community Services office at (616) 493-8950. All seats are general seating.

Forest Hills Community Services' fall musical concert, Trumpet Invasion, will be performed by father and son musicians Rich Ridenour on the piano and Brandon Ridenour on the trumpet. This amazing duo will play classics and pops using the Ridenour's original arrangements. Selections include: "Rhapsody in Blue," "Largo al factotum" from The Barber of Seville, "Amazing Grace," "Carnival of Venice," and several more.

Pianist Rich Ridenour is amazingly versatile, musical, and comical. He has made over 50 recordings, including Piano Pops 1 and 2 with the Grand Rapids Symphony.

At the age of 20, trumpeter Brandon Ridenour became the youngest member ever to join the iconic Canadian Brass, a position he held for seven years. He has won multiple competitions and has performed across the world as a soloist, with leading orchestras, and in support for several notable artists including Sting and James Taylor.
